ILKAR at the exhibit "A Different Approach to the World: The Humboldt-Forum in the Berlin Palace!"
ILKAR inside the exhibit: Albrecht Wiedmann, demonstration of modern phonograph.ILKAR is part of the exhibit "A Different Approach to the World: The Humboldt-Forum in the Berlin Palace -- A first look at the lab". The exhibit opens on July 9 2009 in the Altes Museum in Berlin, Germany and exhibts key ideas for the Humboldt-Forum, the new museum which will be built next to Berlin's famous museum island. Within the exhibit, ILKAR is located in the "laboratory of the future". The laboratory showcases projects carried out at the three institutions which will be part of the Humboldt-Forum: National Museums in Berlin, the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin and the Central and Regional Library Berlin.
From time to time, ILKAR personal will demonstrate the digitization of wax cylinders in the exhibit. For example during the opening.
