The 2008 conference of the International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA) will be hosted by the Australasian Sound Recordings Association (ASRA) at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney, Australia.

The ILKAR project is carried out by two institutions of the National Museums in Berlin:

  • the Rathgen Research Laboratory (RRL)
  • the music archive of the Ethnological Museum (EM)

The ILKAR team receives support from a group of international consultants (click on "Consultants").

The National Museums in Berlin belong to the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation (Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz), one of Germany's biggest cultural institutions.
